Bharat 6G Alliance (B6GA) was launched by Honorable Minister of Communications on 3rd July 2023 as an initiative aimed at facilitating the realization of the “Bharat 6G Vision“ unveiled by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi on 22nd March 2023 for fostering the development of 6G technology in the country. B6GA is an industry-led body, facilitated by the government, that provides a collaborative platform to various technology stakeholders comprising public/private companies, academia, research institutions, and Standard Development organizations

MEMBERSHIP
The Society shall have membership in the following form, or as may be decided by the Governing Council.
Corporate Members- the following shall be eligible for admission as Corporate members of the Society:
- Domestic companies/entities incorporated and registered and having Headquarters in India, who are designing and/or manufacturing products, offering services, developing software/applications or involved in the testing of technology equipment (including start-ups, venture capital funds etc.) and Government and Government institutions
- Academia and Research & Development entities having Headquarters in India; and
- Telecom Service Providers licensed to operate by the Government of India. Corporate Members shall have the power to elect the Governing Council and to participate in the various Expert Committees/Working Groups that may be constituted by the Society.
